Cabernet today accounts barely for 1% of total vineyards planted on the magic island, a pity when one considers the potential of the variety to deliver elegant and perfumed wines. Yields were cut in half from 2019 vintage and the vine delivered gorgeous fruits, picked early May in superb condition. 40% full bunches were included in the wild yeast ferment, gently stomped twice a day.
Aged in seasoned French barrels, this suave wine combines ideal maturity and juiciness with velvet tannins leaving one salivating, ready for the next sip. Mobbile wine of the vintage ?
